We’re bringing free AI workshops to small and mid-sized businesses across the country.
Intuit is proud to partner with HM Government to boost AI skills for 7.5 million UK workers, breaking down barriers to opportunity and unlocking economic growth. As part of that partnership, Intuit is bringing the Intuit More with AI Tour is a roadshow in collaboration with the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) to educate small and mid-sized businesses about the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI). Through this initiative, Intuit aims to demystify AI, promote its responsible use, and make sure small businesses have the tools they need to compete.
The roadshow will visit cities across the country. Stay tuned as cities are announced.
About the Intuit More with AI Tour
Empowering small and mid-sized businesses.
At Intuit, we know that small businesses are the backbone of the economy. For more than 5 years, we’ve been driving AI innovation to help small and mid-sized businesses grow and do more. We’re committed to providing them with the tools and resources they need to thrive so they can continue powering the UK economy for now and years to come.
AI has the potential to revolutionise the way small businesses operate, from automating tasks and improving efficiency to unlocking valuable insights and driving growth. This technology has the potential to level the playing field for small businesses, but we also know that navigating the world of AI can be intimidating, especially for small business owners who are already juggling hundreds of things and wearing dozens of hats. Recent research by the British Chambers of Commerce, in partnership with Intuit, found that despite higher AI use, many SMEs do not feel they are using the technology to its full potential. Just 11% of responding firms reported using technology to a ‘great extent’ to automate or streamline operations.
Increasing AI literacy
Intuit will host half-day events across the UK to provide local small and mid-sized businesses with actionable insights and training on AI, including practical applications, benefits, and responsible implementation strategies, all at no cost to attendees.
Intuit’s comprehensive curriculum in partnership with BCC will ensure that tour content is tailored to small businesses’ specific needs and challenges. Joint research by BCC and Intuit found that in a survey of 1,500 UK businesses, there is more appetite to learn more about applications of AI in business. Many businesses do not feel they are using the technology to its full potential. Just 11% of responding firms reported using technology to a ‘great extent’ to automate or streamline operations, while 42% say ‘to some extent’, 29% ‘to a minimal extent’, and 14% ‘not at all. The More With AI Tour is an extension of Intuit’s ongoing efforts to support small and mid-sized businesses in adopting new technologies and navigating the evolving digital landscape.
