The Intuit More with AI Tour is a nationwide roadshow in collaboration with the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC) to educate small- and medium-sized businesses about the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI). Through this initiative, Intuit aims to demystify AI, promote its responsible use, and make sure small businesses have the tools they need to compete.

Empowering small- and medium-sized businesses nationwide

We’re committed to providing them with the tools and resources they need to thrive so they can continue powering the economy for now and years to come.
AI has the potential to revolutionize the way small businesses operate, from automating tasks and improving efficiency to unlocking valuable insights and driving growth. A recent QuickBooks Business Solutions Survey showed that 89% of small businesses agree that AI is key for business success in today’s economic climate. And we’re already seeing how it can level the playing field for small businesses. But we also know that navigating the world of AI can be intimidating, especially for small business owners who are already juggling hundreds of things and wearing dozens of hats.
Increasing AI literacy
In collaboration with the ICIC, Intuit will host 6 events across the US starting in early 2025. These half-day events will provide local small- and medium-sized businesses with actionable insights and training on AI, including practical applications, benefits, and responsible implementation strategies, all at no cost to attendees. The workshops will also spotlight each community they’re in, highlighting local small businesses and outreach to local policymakers.
Intuit’s partnership with ICIC will ensure that tour content is tailored to small businesses’ specific needs and challenges. ICIC surveyed and conducted focus groups with small businesses across the country to identify knowledge gaps and training preferences. Their findings were published in the February 2025 research paper, “AI in Business: How Small Business Owners Are Learning, Using, and Navigating Challenges with AI Tools.” The research informed the development of the tour curriculum. The report showed 89% of small businesses are currently leveraging AI, with more than 60% reporting increased productivity. However, 72% of business owners cite lack of AI knowledge as a barrier to adoption.
The More With AI Tour is an extension of Intuit’s ongoing efforts to support small- and medium-sized businesses in adopting new technologies and navigating the evolving digital landscape. Read the full press release here.
