The Intuit More with AI Tour launched in Los Angeles as part of the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City’s (ICIC) annual Innovation Summit at the JW Marriott. Over 100 small businesses attended, with high participation across workshops. Anoop Sreenivasan, Vice President of Go-to-Market Technologies at Intuit, served as the Summit’s keynote speaker. Workshops 1 and 2 were presented by Dobbin Bookman, Director of AI Initiatives at ICIC, while Workshop 3 on responsible AI was presented by Intuit. At the Summit, Intuit also presented the inaugural Intuit Innovation Award, recognizing a small business that demonstrated exceptional commitment to fostering innovation in their company and industry.

The Intuit More with AI Tour visited New Haven, Connecticut, hosted at District NHV in partnership with the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC). Connecticut State Senator James Maroney offered opening remarks highlighting the evolving AI landscape and the state’s leadership in this crucial area. Dobbin Bookman, Director of AI Initiatives at ICIC, presented Workshops 1 and 2, while Workshop 3 on responsible AI was presented by Intuit. Community partners such as Charter Oak State College also attended, demonstrating engagement and support for the Tour and the importance of these types of real-world, educational AI initiatives.

The Intuit More with AI Tour visited Boulder, Colorado, for its third stop in the roadshow, hosted at Chautauqua Community House in partnership with the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC). Ashok Srivastava, Chief Data Officer at Intuit, opened the Tour and welcomed the small businesses, noting how important it is, and how committed Intuit is, to empowering small businesses with AI. He also introduced Colorado State Senator Mark Baisley, who emphasized AI’s crucial role in Colorado’s economy and small business growth. The Intuit More with AI Tour visited Mountain View, California, for its fourth stop, hosted at Intuit’s headquarters on the Mountain View campus in partnership with the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC). Michael Kennedy, SVP and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Intuit, opened the event with welcome remarks, and US Representative Sam Liccardo and former Mountain View Mayor Ellen Kamei both delivered remarks to attendees. Dobbin Bookman, Director of AI Initiatives at ICIC, presented Workshops 1 and 2, while Workshop 3 on responsible AI was presented by Intuit. Peter Katz, President and CEO of the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce, was also in attendance. Following their remarks, Congressman Liccardo and Mayor Kamei each joined executive roundtables with Intuit leadership focused on Intuit’s tech innovation, support of small and mid-market businesses, and work with the community.

The Intuit More with AI Tour visited Arlington, Texas, for its fifth stop, hosted at Ten10 Events in partnership with the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC). Kacey Schneider, Senior Manager, Global Public Affairs at Intuit, opened the Tour and welcomed the small businesses, sharing Intuit’s commitment to helping small businesses navigate the complex AI landscape. US Representative Roger Williams, Chairman of the House Committee on Small Business, then spoke via recorded video, addressing how AI is reshaping the way entrepreneurs operate, innovate, and compete, and the importance of ensuring that small businesses are equipped to use AI to their advantage and level the playing field.
